I had a virtual meeting with Dr Richard Satraino today and I must say this is the first doctor to take his time and actually listen to what I was saying. Highly recommend him. Been seeing him for awhile now and I still have the same exact opinion. Still have the same exact opinion of Dr Satraino but the front desk could not possibly be worse.

Understanding Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

When you are going through a difficult time, negative or self-critical thoughts can automatically shape how you feel and react to the world. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a well-researched, goal-oriented approach that helps you identify these automatic thought habits and gently reframe them.
Rather than spending endless sessions only focusing on the past, CBT focuses heavily on your present experiences. Your provider works collaboratively alongside you to break down complex problems into manageable parts, teaching you concrete skills to manage stress, anxiety, and low mood in your day-to-day life.

Feeling heard should start even before  your first session.

At Community Minds, we don’t just book appointments. We build relationships that work for you. Before we match you with a provider, someone from our friendly intake team will give you a quick call. We’ll listen to what you’re looking for (your goals, your schedule, and your preferences), so we can connect you with the right therapist or prescriber from the start. We’re here to make sure you get the support you need.

Fill out the form and we’ll be in touch within the next 24 hours (or the next business day). We’re here to help, and make it as easy as possible for you.
